We would like to announce the grand opening of our new restaurant, ITALIASIA. This newly renovated space offers a dramatic setting combined with contemporary decor that has seating for 170 people. The unique seating, lighting, menus, and service combine to offer hotel guests and the Chicago community a kaleidoscope of emotions and flavors.
This uniquely designed menu offers flavors from Italy and Pan Asian and in many cases they are fused creating a taste sensation of east meets west.
The menu created by Chef de Cuisine, Christopher Karl and Executive Chef, Len Trevino 'will appeal to the city's diverse population as well as hotel guests that frequently stay here from many parts of the world' Karl added. 'Some of the best features of our menu 'said Trevino 'is the small and big plate concept that will satiate all kinds of appetites plus the affordability the guests will appreciate in these time we find ourselves in'.
Menu highlights include: Chicken Milanese with Indonesian Curried Udon Noodles, Beef Carpaccio with Arugula Salad, Caper Berries, Parmigiano-Reggiano and Soy Wasabi Vinaigrette and Linguine with Sautéed Shrimp, Sweet Peppadew Peppers, Fresh Mint and Toasted Pine Nuts. Soups, Sandwiches and individual sized classic and fusion pizzas round out the artful menu.
Wines, offered by the bottle and glass, include selections from Argentina, Chile, California, Italy, Washington State, South America and Australia. Along with a great selection of specialty cocktails and martinis there is also a great selection of sake wines including Snow Maiden (Junmai Nigori) and Shizuku divine Droplets (Junmai Daiginjo)
