What's Halloween without a parade? After all, it's a great chance to check out all the great costumes in one spot. And while Greenwich Village in New York might have a reputation for the best one, The Northalsted Halloween Parade is right up there! Taking place on Halloween night from 5-10pm the parade runs down Halsted, from Belmont to Addison. Feeling confident in your costume? Then be sure to enter their costume contest!
Looked to get spooked a bit? Then be sure to check out these terrifying haunted houses in and around Chicago! At Disturbia Screams in the Park visitors descend into the lower level of a parking garage where you explore 35 interactive rooms that are sure to be terrifying! Immerse yourself in the fictitious Statesville Haunted Prison where you explore cells of rioting prisoners all before trying to make it out with your life in the City of the Dead! Up for taking a little drive? It'll be well worth your time out to County Line Orchard. Visit the petting zoo and hang with some pygmy goats, catch some live music out at the barnyard, or pick some apples for a snack on the way back.
