Join the USNC-UN Women Chicago Chapter on Thursday, March 9th at Hilton Asmus Contemporary Gallery for a panel discussion on the topic of girls' education and empowerment around the world. Focus areas will include the status of girls' education and empowerment in the developing world, the status of refugee girls in Chicago, and how people can help support girls' education and empowerment both locally and globally. Our fantastic panelists include: - Ashley Marine, Director of Girl Engagement for Girl Forward - Arij Mikati, Senior Director of Teacher Support at OneGoal - Leslie Natzke, Founder of Expanding Lives - Alisa Roadcup, Executive Director of Heshima Kenya - Kirsten Turpel, Program Officer at Women's Global Education Project Afterwards, we'll enjoy a reception with wine and food!
