No stay in The Windy City is complete without taking in a Bulls game. Chicago is known for its storied sports culture, with two baseball teams, the Bears in the NFL, and NHL Stanley Cup Champions, the Blackhawks. But perhaps no team is more synonymous with Chicago than the Bulls. The undisputed greatest team the NBA has ever produced was Michael Jordan's 1996 Bulls, with a record-setting 72 wins in the season. In fact, one of the only other teams with a comparable dynasty is the Los Angeles Lakers, and the two squads showdown this season at the United Center on January 20th, minutes from our hotel. While tickets for such a monumental match-up can be a bit pricey ($280-$2,500), it's guaranteed to be a game to remember.
United Center conveniently opens 90 minutes before every game, leaving you plenty of time to find your seat, and shop for Bulls souvenirs at The Bull Market team store near section 117. In case you crave a bite or drink before tip-off, you can fill up at Crown Royal Whisky Bar, DiGiorno's Pizzeria, Bar One, Budweiser Select Brew Pub, or Ironworks. As pregame festivities begin, prepare to be entertained by the IncrediBulls, a comedic and stunt group that gets the crowd pumped from the court and stands. Also, be sure you take a minute to visit the world-famous Michael Jordan statue out front, before or after the game.
