What Are The Museum Hours? Is There A Restaurant?
The Museum of Science and Industry is open daily from 9:30 am to 4 pm, with extended hours to 5:30 pm from June-August. Hours may change during holiday periods or for special events. The Brain Food Court offers a variety of beverages, salads, sandwiches, pizza, pasta, and quick snacks. The Museum Cafe offers grab-and-go items, coffee, smoothies, breakfast, and sandwiches.
Are Strollers Allowed? What Activities Are Offered For Kids?
Guests may bring or rent strollers at the Museum of Science and Industry. Rentals are available at the entrance for a $3 charge ($5 for double strollers). Other amenities include free wheelchairs, coat check, and a first-aid station. Children love MSI just as much as the adults. The Museum’s Idea Factory gives children 10 and under opportunities to explore science through fun, interactive activities.
